Traveling as Couple
The hotel itself was wonderful. The room, staff, and check-in/out was what we expected from Embassy Suites. If you have kids and want to enjoy the pool area find out if there is a kids sports team staying as well. If they are anything like the group we experienced, choose another hotel, there are other nice ones in the area. I would hope the staff would make an effort to monitor the pool area. However this was not the case during our visit. Instead we experienced utter chaos and mayhem and were not able to enjoy the amenities. Between being splashed constantly, the chicken fighting, dodge ball and extreme volleyball it was no wonder not one person outside of the team was able to hear, swim, or sit in the hot-tub, let alone relax. I was certainly embarrassed for their parents and coaches, as well as the hotel for not putting a stop to it. I did not feel compelled to get out of the hot tub, dry off, and walk to the front desk to tattle tale on out of control teens and their idle parents. Maybe you prefer a confrontation, I didn't.
